Son, we live in a world that has drum solos, and those drum solos have to be guarded by men with cameras. Who's gonna do it? You? Craig Shaw?

I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for the Ausland181 Plus hack and you curse the Brian Higgins. You have that luxury.

You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that the Ausland181 Plus facebook page, while tragic, probably saved drum solos. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves drum solos!

You don't want the truth, because deep down in places you don't talk about at Rosemount Hotel after parties, YOU want me on that front barrier, YOU need me on that front barrier.

We use words like "Neil Peart", "Moby Dick", "Cozy Powell's 1812 Overture Masterpiece ". We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending drum solos. You use them as a punchline!

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom from drum solo’s that I provide, and then QUESTIONS the manner in which I provide it!

I would rather you just said "thank you", and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a drum stick, and stand with a cowbell.

Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think you are entitled to!

Brian Higgins: The dried up and antiquated music fan turn hack who manages the Ausland181 forums. His views are often sordidly lacerated with hate, violence, sexism and toxic masculinity. If you look hard enough, I’m sure you can find them!;

Neil Peart: One of the BEST drummers EVER. Played in a little known, and vaguely successful Canadian band called Rush (sold over 40 million albums worldwide);

Moby Dick: John Bonham’s AMAZING drum solo;

John Bonham: Regarded as one of the Greatest and Most influential drummers of ALL time. He was best known for his membership of the widely scoffed at, and unsuccessful four piece called Led Zeppelin;

Cozy Powell: An absolute LEGEND who played with the Who’s Who of ROCK. The only DRUMMER who scored a solo top 5 hit in the UK;
