In the live setting Giant Dwarf’s music captures the soul, embraces the spirit and takes you, kicking and screaming, into their psychedelic padded cell room of abounding sound. Taking progressive influences from the past and amalgamating them into the present theirs is a mighty wall of guitar rock. The set was a representative as new songs, still in the demo stage, were showcased at tonight’s performance. The gathering of live music aficionado’s whose numbers were slowly building, took the Giant Dwarf’’s bouncy, stoner rock sounds and embraced their heritage with enthusiasm. A five-piece unit that are beyond doubt in the musical boundaries they are pushing. Next time they are around take that giant step and get to that venue. It all begins with a small decision.
