Rock Marauders - Part 3

The first surprise of the night was Art of Dysfunction is now a three piece, the second surprise was guitar wizz Michael Menna also stepped into the role of vocalist. Without missing a beat the new songs exemplify a rock powered blues based trio extraordinaire, with vocals that fit like a velvet glove. Royce Mack at the back on the stix attack commands the pace, with new name Kelly on the bass giving it a slap in the face. With a cut down band and change in vocals it was no surprise the AoD classics had a slightly different sound, but do not lose any of the edge. The newer compositions sounded perfect, raising the bar on blues based power trio rock. The supporting live music aficionado’s engulfed the energy and reciprocated it four fold in response. A great set to keep the machine rollin on the road of live music life. Let’s hope it’s not too long before the new look AoD hit the road again.
