At this first night of the medical mishap fund raising weekend for local, national, international music mastermind and drumming legend, James Baker, the fourth unit provided the emotional musical support, care and attention. Brothers Ryan and Luke, on bass and sonic guitar respectively, provided the solid and stable foundation for Tood to paint a picture on drums. Adding deft touches that support Brendon’s vocals, allowing him to soar on the wings of emotion and rhythm guitar. Devilish touches of flair come from Alex on guitar and violin, whipping up the frazzled and frenzy mystic patterns. It was an over whelming set of pure musical expression. Country blues meeting swamp acid rock, amalgamating into a glorious discord and harmony. The Kill Devils Hills are an experience that wraps around like a cloud and brings you down into a heavenly landing. A must do experience for the live music aficionado’s out there.
