Let There Be Rock - Part 3

BAND/ARTIST:

Red Engine Caves

VENUE:

Mojos Bar

DATE:

9 August 2024

Hitting the boards as a four-piece from their previous three piece set-up Red Engine Caves upped the rock ante and exploded in a dynamic frenzy of sweat, beautiful noise and gut wrenching rock n roll. Driven by SRB’s energic main man Cal Kraner, flailing, bashing and beating the drum kit, Rick, Ralf and Dion (?) combining in the guitar spectrum to reciprocate the force. Ricky indulged in swinging from the Mojo’s stage bar, was carried shoulder high for extrusions into the heaving throng and demonstrated responsible drinking with a “Cheers” to one and all. Ralf stripped down and was all hair, sweat and ballsy bass. The additional guitar of Dion (?) put the beef into the meaty sandwich as only could be expected. I am positive that his shared DNA would have twisting on the ladder as the cosmic spirit travelled (for those that need an answer I am talking of the One and Only Dom Mariani). It was to be said that there can only be this madness if there is musical genius, and there was musical rock n roll genius in spades tonight. Kudos to the hallowed venue, bar staff and sound technician’s for their support and service in bringing this event together. Just another night of fantastic live rock music in Downtown North Fremantle aka Sin City. Set List: “Leadfoot”, “Copplestone”, “Rise”, “Black Mary”, “Gimme”, “#3”, “WxTxF”, “Pam”, “Only Mine”, “Jacky” Red Engine Caves are:- Ricky Dean (Guiter/Vocals), Callum Kramer (Drums), Ralf (Bass); Dion (?) Mariani (guitar); Scroll down for more …..
