Amberdown have recently amped up to a four piece. As expected their sound is more beefy and so were the perfect match for this opening set. The crunchy rock compositions generated a well-received reaction from the standing reserved early birds. With a small but sturdy and resilient force of Heavy Rock/Metal early birds in attendance they warmed up the venue on a cold night and got the room hot with their vibrations. Established favourites and I think a few newer numbers where in the thirty minute set. Flying with an unpublished set list I think I may have captured the titles correctly, but as the closing song stated, there could be a “Hole in the Flaw” ed memory banks. An excellent crunchy set to chew on.
