Essential Gathering - Part 4

BAND/ARTIST:

Viperchain

VENUE:

Amplifier Bar

DATE:

2 August 2024

Launching their single “I Can’t Really Blame You” rock band Viperchain headlined tonight’s gig at Amps. Like the opening act they too amalgamate rock into heavy death metal, using their unique skills to achieve their shared musical vision. A five piece lineup featuring two guitars, bass, drums and keyboards (lead vocals are shared by guitar and bass) their sound is hard and heavy, the movement energetic. A seven song setlist of blistering energy. At one stage a guest singer who may have been from the first band jumped stage and led the vocals. The reverberating flow triggering off a circulating mosh pit. Excellent launching of a new single into the web stratosphere. “A finger tapping punk death metal screaming band Toxic Dada had it all rolled into one. A five-piece unit that crossings all boundaries and bashes them together with musical dexterity. Their opening set was an unexpected assault attack on the musical senses and drew a wildly enthusiastic response from the large flock of early bird live music aficionado’s. Toxic Dada’s frenetic frantic whirlwind of energy got a mosh pit circulating, not bad response for an opening act. Kudos to BigTommo presents for putting the event together.” Set List: ‘Blind’, ‘Hang’, Go to Hell’, ‘Tears’, “Wasted’, ‘Drown’, ‘Blame You’ Viperchain are:- Liam Burke – guitar/vocals Marc Scamozzi – drums Raf Sheppard - synth/keys Dylan Bryan-McCaig - guitar Harry Chowdhurie - bass/vocals Scroll down for more …..
