Five-piece symphonic Metal band Darkyra mounted the open air stage one and proceeded to shake the rafters of the Universe.
Gina’s powerful vocals fronted a hardcore of some of Perth’s finest and hardest working musicians around town,
Their wall of sound slammed into the cosmos, bringing space and earth together in a musical creation of the finest pedigree.
With minor rehearsal time prior to this slot, unofficially closing the Early Bird session, their thirty minute set magnificent brought the Early Birds and arriving Day Trippers together as one congregation to pray in the church of Saint Jacob (aka Part Rocks Festival).
